“In September 2015 Serramel wins the Silver Medal for the Oak Honey from Serra da Malcata in the National Honey Contest promoted by FNAP - National Federation of Portuguese Beekeepers with the sponsorship of CNEMA - National Exhibition Center in Santarém, Portugal.
"Our Oak Honey is produced in the oak forests in the north of Serra da Malcata, on the banks of the Côa River.
With a very dark colour, malt characteristic aroma and a flavour with salty notes, it is the honey chosen by the least sweet tooth people.
This honey has a high viscosity, which is a feature of its own.”
