It is with great pleasure that we announce that Euromel won the Bronze Medal at the 2016 National Honey Contest for the Heather Honey from Serra da Malcata. This Contest is part of the National Agriculture Fair of Santarém and it is organized by the National Federation of Beekeepers of Portugal, with the support of CNEMA - National Center of Exhibitions in Santarém.

It is a dark honey with a strong and characteristic taste, collected by the bees from March to May in the upper slopes of Serra da Malcata.
It has a very intense and persistent aroma with salty and bitter notes.
